Lifeline Northern Beaches – CMS entered a team in the Northern Beaches Lifeline Classic Surf Comp at Queenscliff Beach in 2019. Lifeline Northern Beaches provides crisis support and suicide prevention services and their aim for the event was to raise $100,000 which translates to 6,600 calls answered and 1,000 counselling sessions. CMS Surveyors entered to support this great initiative and because every year 190 Australians working in the construction industry take their own lives, this means we lose a construction worker every second day to suicide. Even though Team CMS were knocked out in the semi-finals, we raised an incredible $$5,744.92.

Narraweena Hawks JRLFC – CMS are proud to support our local Junior Rugby League Football Club – the mighty Narraweena Hawks – as jersey sponsor for 2019. They are a club dedicated to giving every child from Under 6’s to A grade an opportunity to develop and play rugby league.

CVEN Industry Partner with UNSW – We are pleased to be an Industry Partner with the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of NSW. The School has active links with the Industry partners “to ensure a real-world focus for our teaching and research”. CMS Surveyors is passionate about promoting Surveying as a career choice and the Industry Partners Program at the UNSW provides a great opportunity to do just that.

Manly United Football Club – With our head office directly on the sidelines of Cromer Park, it was a natural fit to be Silver Partners of Manly United Football Club. The MUFC provides “an avenue to compete at the highest level in NSW in the best atmosphere and facilities football can offer”.

Steve Waugh Foundation – CMS were pleased to be able to support the Steve Waugh Foundation in 2019. The Foundation provides support for children and young adults living with rare diseases, giving a better quality of life and offering support through a variety of initiatives.

Movember – At CMS, we are passionate about mental health. One of our initiatives is to offer a confidential counselling service to our employees. The “Employee Assistance for Mental Wellbeing Initiative” can help employees deal with issues ranging from low mood irritations and worries through to anxiety disorders, acute stress and depression. This counselling service can help employees get back to leading a happy and productive life at home and work. For the last 7 years, CMS Surveyors have participated in Movember to raise funds and awareness for all the dads, brothers, sons and mates in our lives.

A Life Without Limits – We are always happy to spread the word about surveying as a career choice and enjoy our time at the annual Northern Beaches Careers Day for high school students.

The Krazy Kosci Klimb – One of our Directors, David, and his family took part in the amazing Krazy Kozi Climb to raise funds for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. Each year the Krazy Kosci Climb supports the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Sports Program for kids living with a disability.
