Christopher Larmour joins the BOSSI board
CMS Surveyors is thrilled to announce that our Technical Director and Registered Land Surveyor, Christopher Larmour, has been nominated to the Board of Surveying and Spatial Information (BOSSI) by Consulting Surveyors NSW.
BOSSI plays a crucial role in the surveying and spatial information sectors in NSW. Its principal functions include registering land and mining surveyors, maintaining an up-to-date register, investigating complaints and taking disciplinary actions, and providing expert advice to the Minister for Customer Service and the Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation on surveying practices and spatial information.
Chris brings to the board over 15 years of experience across various projects including greenfield subdivisions, virtual visualisations, mining, laser scanning and 3D modelling. Recognised for his technical knowledge and creative approach to problem solving, Chris has received awards at the Excellence in Surveying & Spatial Information Awards for Extra Dimension and Innovation in 2017 and 2021.
As a dedicated member of the Institute of Surveyors NSW and Consulting Surveyors NSW, Chris actively shares his knowledge and passion for the surveying profession. He frequently participates in industry events to inspire and encourage new recruits and the next generation of surveyors.
Chris’s election to the BOSSI board marks a significant milestone for Chris, as well as CMS. We’re confident that his expertise and dedication will contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the surveying profession in NSW.
