CMS Surveyors supports UNSW’s first industry funded lecturer
CMS Surveyors is excited to share that Sandra Hoffmann has joined UNSW as the industry lecturer. This appointment marks a significant milestone as the first ever industry funded lecturer position offered at UNSW.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the other supporters of this important step in securing a future for surveying education in NSW — Lynton Surveys, Land Partners, SDG, and Land Surveys.
Ms Hoffman, a Registered Land Surveyor and esteemed alumna of UNSW, brings a wealth of experience to her role. With four years of teaching experience, she is perfectly positioned to contribute to the development of future surveying professionals. Her expertise in technical surveying courses such as cadastral, CAD, survey comps, and survey camps will undoubtedly benefit UNSW students.
With support from CMS Surveyors and our industry partners, we’ll be doing our best to ensure the curriculum remains modern and relevant, providing students with the skills they need to succeed in their careers. Additionally, we look forward to supporting industry related research projects at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, leveraging our expertise and connections to drive advancements in modern surveying practice.
