The Garvan Institute
A fully functional BIM model for the architect’s ongoing design
CMS Surveyors were approached by Tier 1 multinational architecture firm HDR to provide a survey accurate record of the existing façade conditions at the renowned Garvan Institute in Inner Sydney Paddington. The building and roof represent a wide range of façade planes, fenestration patterns, materials and forms. These were faithfully captured by the high definition laser scanning equipment and transferred to a fully functional BIM model for the architect’s ongoing design.
