International House is a stately 7 storey building on the corner of Pitt Street and Bathurst Street in the Sydney CBD. The building dates from 1908 and has significant heritage value to the city which is why the developers approached CMS Surveyors to provide a high resolution digital laser scan of the building.

The point cloud data capture enabled us to create a digital twin model of the building using Revit BIM software with a particular emphasis on a high detail façade to enable the architects to develop their adaptive reuse designing with the confidence they are using survey accurate information of the existing building.

The result is a stunning design concept by TKD Architects for the proposed $32.7 million refurbishment.
